Syllabus Year 7
In Term 1 students complete a short presentation about themselves. They learn about parts of a computer and prepare a related presentation and quizzes. In term two the focus is on spreadsheets. Finally in term 3 there is a project to design a sports centre which combines the skills studied earlier in the year.
Spreadsheets: Students should understand how to use simple formulae in spreadsheets, basic formatting skills, and should be able to produce graphs.
Desktop Publishing Software
Students produce leaflets to advertise their sports centre.
